I make art because I have to.

I love hand-cutting tiny flower petals, blades of grass, and other small details from my painted collage papers just as much as I love dragging a giant brush loaded with bold color across a blank canvas. My process is intuitive, layered, and often surprising.

For me, art is less about creating a perfect finished product and more about the making. Somewhere between the paint, paper, and scissors, I find a sense of flow. My neurons start dancing.
